MSI Radeon 6970 lighting screen flickering/problems

Hello i´ve just installed my new computer with the specs:

AMD FX-8150 8C 3.6G 16M AM3+ 125W
MK Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 ATX, 990FX, AM3+
GK ATI MSI HD6970 Lightning 2GB GDDR5
Corsair 8GB (KIT) DDR3 VENGEANCE 1,5V CL9 BLUE
PSU Corsair CMPSU-800GEU
Cooler Master Vortex Plus
Kab Fractal Design Define XL/BLACK/NO-PSU USB 3.0

But everytime i try to run any game, the screen keeps flickering about each 20-30 seconds
and sometime turn blue/green and yeah i have updated all the drivers and installed every update.
And i havent overclocked at all. So what is it i´m not seing? please help

Only thing I can say is it looks to be drivers, assuming all the hardware is working properly.

The PSU is more than enough to run that card, and system, and could easily handle 2 cards with power to spare, and its a top quality brand/psu.

all the parts seem to be compatible, so not an issue there.

you mention all drivers and updates are installed.

just to be sure, did you install the card with the latest updates from AMD's site for the Display Drivers and Catalyst Control panel?

You mention its not overclocked, do you know what the GPU's operating temps are when it does this flickering and color changes?

Do you have another PCIe video card you could test with, just to make sure you didn't get a bad apple card (most of thos MSI cards are good, but even the best brands have a few bad cards off the assembly line)
