    Hi

    know this may seem daft but lost some memory cards!

    I have looked at photos on the computer through a memory card reader but didnt save them. Is there any way the computer automatically may keep a record of these and if so how can i retrieve them? Desperate at the mo!

    Almost no chance.
    Some of it could have been left in a cache, but that would have been written o over and over, depending on how much RAM you have.
    Or not at all, if you have a lot of RAM, I would assume.

    At any rate, if it was there, you would use a data recovery program like TestDisk - CGSecurity
    Never used it myself though.
    It finds things, that have been deleted.
    A data recovery service, cost a lot, and I doubt there is anything there.
