well, what are you needing a new GPU for, that would help to know.

most likely you will need to have the Power Supply replaced as well, its only 250W and quite under powered for most Graphics cards, even for light gaming type uses.

CPU is decent enough, but again depends on what your actually intending to use this for.

What is your Budget for these upgrades?

You have a somewhat newer motherboard, at least a Socket AM3 board, and it has a single PCI Express x16 slot which is what you need for a good graphics upgrade.

Well, i wanted to be able to run games on my desktop. Im not a hardcore gamer, but when i bought a game for this desktop, it couldn't stop lagging, and it was frustrating to see my money be spent on somthing i couldn't use. i just want to be able to run a few games, without them lagging. i dont need 3d or high quality.

What do you suggest that i do. My budget is around $75-$100 dollars will that be enough to get the job done??

which games are you trying to play, to get an idea of what you might need. But generally $100 you can get a new PSU and a budget range graphics card.

    If your in the US,

    Antec - 450-Watt Power Supply - VP450

    Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card ( 100326DDR3L )

not factoring Shipping costs that would be about $100 for both.

Currently one in stock, and an Open box item (these are not "Used" as most people think, most open box items are items people ordered by mistake and opened, or were opened for demonstrations at Newegg's Stores or other similar situations, they may have been used to some extent, but not used, defective and returned).

    Newegg.com - Open Box: PowerColor AX6750 1GBK3-H Radeon HD 6750 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

This card would be a hell of a deal for the price, its normally a $100 card and would run fine on that Antec 450W PSU from Best Buy.
