What in gods name happened
First off I would like to Say sorry for any grammer errors due to the fact I'm using a iPod to type this.
So today I got home and the clocks were reset meaning the power at some point in time went out ( normal seeing we live in Fl) . All 3 of our TVs and clumped refused to turn on , so we reset our fuse box , and re set our surge protectors, this fixed one tv( the main living room one hooked up to the cable box) and the. Computer. This left the phone , 2 TVs without power. Also the computer is not reading the the wifi router , but both my iPod and ps3 is picking up single fine.
Now I would just say the lightning fried it , but my tv was plugged into the same surge protector as my ps3 , a control dock , alarm clock , and a iPod dock ( all of which are fine) T
As for the other tv , it was plugged in with a DVD player and both are down
The phone is pluged in with a buch of other crap , all of which is working
Did somehow my cable/ phone line get hit knocking out my phone, net and 2 tvs? Or did some things get lucky

Well, a surge protector doesn't protect you from lightning. So if lightning did get in to your house it could have fried some electronics.

I am a radio TV broadcast engineer. Have to deal with lightning all the time. Lightning is a strange animal. Any wire outside your house that comes into your house can carry lightning into your equipment. AC, cable, phone, etc. All can bring it in. Also you can have a bunch of equipment sitting next to each other plugged in the exact same way and only one could be damaged, or all except one could be damaged.
Sounds like you have surge protectors on the AC power but do you have protection on the cable and phone wires? And as said by the other poster here a surge protector can not totally eliminate lightning. A really good one can eliminate it sometimes if it isn't too big, but a hit right outside your home usually means trouble.

That wOuld explain the TVs and phone , but not the net. The wifi still gives off signle , but somewhere between the wifi rou and my computer the wire goes bad , I've tried 3 different wires , none of which got my computer reading it .

Are you sure it isn't the network card?
As said any single piece of equipment, can get zapped, an not hurt anything else.
Like evereddie said "strange animal"
I have a friend that lives on a hill that always gets hit by lightning.
So bad that lightning rods are a must.
It blew out the metal frame on a basement window once.
After one storm one of his 2 computers would not even boot .
Turns out, the network card was fried so bad that it was shorting the motherboard.
I replaced the network card, and everything worked.
Lightning has a huge magnetic field surrounding the the actual bolt, that's why even a close hit can destroy electronics, and generate high voltage in power lines.

Also check the router, WiFi is separate from the 4 port switch, built into the router.
Most WiFi routers, are a Router, 4 Port Switch, and WiFi.
Any of the 3 can fail by themselves.
Even individual port on the switch part can fail.Hard Sayin Not Knowin

Also...just for safety's sake...go outside to your power meter and make sure everything is grounded. There should be a ground rod in the ground somewhere nearby, unless you have an older home.

GO outside and check if there is a wire/rod going in the ground, there should be one. usually lightning fries up ur network card. try replacing that.

Can anything pick up the routers WiFi ?
What did you mean by "but both my iPod and ps3 is picking up single fine"?
Where did the PS3 get the signal if it wasn't from the router?

As for the ps3 ,when pluged it ,it did not work , but it works wirelessly
