I can use remote or push the on button , the green light comes on than shuts off will not come on. Repeat over and over. Green light comes on than will go off again !!! No tv.... Help please!!!!!

Without knowing the model number, It sounds like a power supply issue...

Sounds, like RCA has the same bad parts.

It is nothing you can fix yourself.

Mine worked intermittently for a while, then did what you described, all the time.

It would cost more to fix, than a new one.

As Big said, without knowing the model number, we can do little other than guess. If it is still under warranty, I would recommend contacting RCA about it. There support site is located HERE.

There is usually little that an end-user can do to fix TV issues of this nature. Often they will need the expertise of a specialist.

Check to see if the air filter is clean, assuming it has one it will be behind a little door in the back... check the manual.

They usually give a blinking light warning first...
