bad cooling fan
How do I replace the cooling fan and where is the best source for purchase.

Replacing a fan depends on which fan you are talking about. If its the CPU heatsink and fan there are a few differences between each socket. If you are talking about a case fan then its just the matter of a few screws.
Purchase - well that depends on where you are from. If you are in the states just about everyone here shops at Newegg Newegg.com - CPU Coolers, CPU Fans, CPU Heatsinks
If you need it right away and live near a Fry's they have pretty good in-store prices.
