Where do these plug in to mobo?

These are from a Obsidian 650d and I am unsure where they go, they dont appear to fit anywhere on the mobo.

Not familiar with that board, so it would help if I could see the whole thing..

They defiantly don't plug into the board.

Those are male connectors, and motherboards, don't have female connectors.

If I had to guess, those are fan connectors, and the end you are showing, is for a three wire fan, but it has no tachometer wire.

By any chance is there a 4 wire molex on the other end, or dose the case have a fan controller?
What are they connected to on the other end

I get it now, I didn't realizes the Obsidian 650d, was the power supply.

Those are defiantly fan plugs. the hot side.
Your 3 pin fans, plug into those, so you don't have to run them off the motherboard.

Most geeks only run the CPU fan from the motherboard, to reduce load, on the board.

We run them from the power supply molexes.
    That just makes it easier.

ok, but I couldn't connect my fans from corsair h100 into those pieces. I connected directly into the cooler unit.....

Im obviously new to this and a bit over my head lol. But I cant even hook up my new asus vg27 monitor because it seems there is no dvi or hdmi to plug into the mobo, I really dont get it. I dont know if I need an adapter or something but its had me stumped for a bit.

    wow

I can't answer by just guessing. There is no question, those are for fans to plug into.

What dose the cooler unit plug look like???

Not all boards, or video cards, have the same connectors.
You have to order your parts, and adapters accordingly.

Doesn't you video card have DVI, and HDMI ?

I'll see if I can figure out what yo have from your other post, but a couple of quick links would help.

you were right, I plugged them into the fan.

The only issue now is hooking up the monitor to the PC. It seems to be that I need a gpu installed because I dont see anywhere a DVI or HDMI slot on the mobo, to plug the monitor into.

You are correct, that board has no on-board of any kind.

You will have to plug in your video card.

I grew up in Wellesley, many years ago. Where are you at.

I spent many a summer there as a teen, back when you could sleep on the beach.

I'll be back in the morning, and I'm sure Shyguy will check in.

Sorry about that, I posted in your other thread about using the onboard video, forgot that you got the Socket 2011 setup, with so many others getting Socket 1155 setups, I got a bit confused, plus lack of sleep when posting helps forget things as well LOL.

Haha ya speaking of no sleep....

Ya a lot of little things slowed me down, I wanted to be certain so I checked, double checked and triple checked everything online lol.

I just booted up and got to the rampage screen which seemed very user friendly. I could monitor the temps and do a lot of tweaking, but I only looked briefly.

Although, when I booted I had a CPU Fan error! message but all fans seemed to be running fine. The corsair was lit up and had the fans going so I'm not sure what the error was about.

I'll take some pics tomorrow and post them, the build turned out nice and looks cool, although now my credit cards and bank account took a hit. lol. Just hope that CPU fan error was nothing major.

if you have the H100 plugged into the CPU Fan header (to run the H100's pump), in the bios, make sure that any CPU fan speed controls are shut off or disabled, so that it is running full speed all the time.

AMD calls it Cool'n'Quiet, I forget what Intel Calls it, but there should be some settings for the CPU Fan speeds and to be able to throttle the CPU Fans at various temps, that needs to be disabled so it has full power/full speed all the time.
