    Question Help with connecting a laptop to a tv with an s-video cable

     
    Hey! Recently my cable was turned off, and I have some movies on my laptop id like to watch on the tv. My laptop is an HP Pavilion dv6500, the tv is a Hitachi Ultravision. The only port on the tv is the s-video cable. I've seen other forums just suggesting buying an adapter, but that's not an option for me at the moment. I'm a bit slow when it comes to most things on the computer, so I was hoping someone could give me a step by step for this. Thanks!
