Unhappy Cannot get hotmail to unblock my email account

It has been 7 days that someone hacked into my email, after speaking to at least 5 people in the philipines I finally got some response from hotmail asking me to complete a questionnaire to prove that i am the rightful owner. I completed it giving more info than I possibly can and now they are telling me "We understand the urgency of getting this issue rectified. However, we need to get as many as possible matches in order for us to prove the validity of the account ownership. Unfortunately, we cannot send the default password'

I am so frustrated as I have this hotmail account for many many years and I told them I cannot remember when the account was created. all other responses were accurate and honest.

What can I do to get back my account which has pertinent files and information?

Keep calling and asking for people higher up the chain. Probably about it.

I hate to sound like a clown here but that's one of many reasons I don't use hotmail. At a point they were it for free email accounts. Lack of quality service and decent features (as well as advertisements) seem to be making them akin to AOL, aka, obsolete (mind you AOL offers free emails too, frightening).

Anyhow, I hope you get back into your account eventually.

As a gmail user I'm very satisfied with quality of service and features. Maybe you should consider gmail for your next mail provider? I'm big into 2-step verification akin to one time token generation. Added security over your account. Just a thought though.

    Good luck!

Everyone has problems with Hotmail it seems. That's all I see posted here. I have Yahoo and Comcast for E-mail.

Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, and a couple others for me, though I mainly use Hotmail, but it does give me trouble every so often, likes to "crash" on me every so often, much like Windows. Go figure.

but otherwise it isn't too bad, at least for me.

Not to sound rude but you know what cracks me up more than anything about all these hotmail posts, is that people go to almost everyone but the source to try to find an answer. Pretty flat out and honest, there is nothing anyone but MS can do to help out. People on forums, people on Yahoo Answers, people on any other site out there can't do anything to fix it.

Its sad to say that their support might suck, but its just the reality of it. If you keep trying over and over again and the call center can't help then try my suggestion that I've posted time and time again, that by the way comes directly from MS.
