According to google it's a standard home speaker setup...

You are contradicting yourself. If no power is getting to the unit, how is it turning on when plugged in?

the way I read it, is if it comes on when plugged in, then if no power is getting to unit, then it must be by basic deduction and reasoning (a.k.a. "Common Sense") NOT plugged in...

Maybe if they explained it better, might shed some light on the situation.

but I have to get a laugh with these members that post these questions here, not only do they post this in PC hardware tech Support Forums/site, but they have to use the "mad/angry" emoticon in their title, makes it even funnier to read.

"Ohhh, I'm so pissed, I'm so irate, why won't this damn thing work right? Well, I guess I'll go post a question as to why, on a Computer Tech Support Forums, and make sure I don't even Post in the proper section about why my Home Stereo won't work. I'll also make sure I post as little information as possible, because I expect the members there to know exactly what the problem is, but not before reading my mind over the internet on what the problem is."

    Anyways....

Let me google that for you

at least this way, the Angry smiley face is warranted, with my "quote" commentary above
