flash drive trouble
I am having trouble with my flash drive. It came out of the shell and i put it back together but it keeps saying that the drive is unrecognizable. I have very important info on this flash drive and don't want to loose it. the drive will pop up every once in a while but wont stay up for very long

It sounds like you have some broken leads. With the case off, look to see if there are any broken connections, especially to the four metal pads on the connector.

Hi, and WELCOME TO TECHIMO - from the Folding@Home Team [#111]...!
If it is important data, you should be able to just get it back from a backup...especially as flash drives should only be used for transporting a copy around anyway....
All data that is important is covered in a (proven, and tested for recovery) backup strategy...
For now, the cheapest option would be to do as howste has said, but there's no certainty that it will work...
