I then tried my Wife's laptop to access my Amazon account it worked perfectly .

What os are you running?
superantispyware.com
Download this update it and scan your pc
can you post a screenshot of what you are running into on your computer?
The Zeusbot was one of the big players when it came to compromising accounts, not sure if they is what you have or not. Do you have any kind of pc protection on your computer?

Cleaned a computer a few months back with a similar issue with AOL asking for a renewal and credit card (person still had AOL). That was spyware too. Whatever you do don't enter your credit card. Sounds like common sense but, yeah, you'd be surprised with how many people do and regret it.
Also Malware Bytes wouldn't be bad either. MBAM+SAS = real good.
Malwarebytes : Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO removes malware including viruses, spyware, worms and trojans, plus it protects your computer (looks like they redid their website since the last time I've been there; that link is for the trial)“Arguing with anonymous strangers on the Internet is a sucker's game because they almost always turn out to be—or to be indistinguishable from—self-righteous sixteen-year-olds possessing infinite amounts of free time.” ― Cryptonomicon

4GB is about the minimum you want for good performance. I kicked up to 8 and I noticed the difference. Especially in games.
