Sony Vaio PCG-F480 Keyboard
I have a problem my laptop is running win2k updated from 98 now my Fn key does not work I can not find a new keyboard driver for this laptop to include the Fn key tried most things on Sony website currently driver is 102key from m/s Anyone got any ideas. Problem is I can't get to use lcd/vga option.

I have the PCG-F450. I have not installed win2000, but I did a quick search and found others that have your problem. There is a link about halfway down this page that explains the same issue.... You may be out of luck.

Don't know what else to tell you. Is there a .exe file that does the same thing as "Fn -> LCD/VGA" ? I will try some more searching....

hmmmm, it's not looking good. Here's something else you should read. It's not the same model, but it is the same problem. Looks like something Sony has been slacking on.

Note to self: Don't install Windows 2000 on Sony laptop if intending to us external monitor.

have you tried XP (if you are wanting to use an NT system) could be that the support for the keyboard and monitor may be better

Hello, Yes that is the exact PNY card, but I don't think there is a possibility of the Twin FROZR (TOP CARD) to be taking in warm air because there is a 120mm fan blowing cold air straight...
Temps too high? ( GTX 580s )
