Does anyone know hwere I can find the regedit command or file or something. Also I need to know how to start my pc in safe mode.

Start, Run, then type regedit, or do a find...

If it is W98 hold down the control key while booting, otherwise F5 or F8 at the right time (when Window's starts to load), I never can remember which.

I like the control key method because you can start pressing it right away, the other keys have to be hit at just the right time.

which os?

if its win98 press f8 at start up when it says windows is starting up

if its win2k or winxp press f5 at start up when the little white bar is loading up

hmmm...never tried control key ... I HAVE done hold the shift key at boot up and it pops up with a menu of how you want to start Windows <safe mode, normal, etc ... >
