JVM problem in IE

Hi all, next problem in my continuing quest to have a pc working just the way I want (and this is before I add my 3d glasses and start recording my home vids to it, before you ask I have to its a PAL camcorder from UK and to view it on TV I need NTSC format and as I have VIVO thought may as well use it) I have ran into another problem.

Because of the sun/Ms arguments the update does not allow the Virtual machine to download automatically, I followed Aureals post to get the MS version but it does not work right!!! it will show the java link but will not go to the link(on 2 web sites so far) the same is happening with Suns JRE does the exact same. I have downloaded mozilla for now and am able to view them (after installing JRE ) with no problems but would like to just have one browser....IE can you help????

Click the "Java plug-in for Windows XP." link at the bottom. It doesn't matter if you're running XP or not, it's just an installer for the JRE (Java Runtime Environment). You can also download the whole package and save it for later if you'd like.
