Alright, I got this drawing tablet for 4 bucks. Actually, a friend of mine got it for me, but that is besides the point. It came with a huge ol 5.5 floppy which of course, I don't have. I'm having a hard time finding drivers for it to get it to work. It's hooked up, but windows doesn't recognize it's even there. It hooks up through the serial port and derives power through the old AT style mouse connector ( converted with adapters ).
It's an old 5X5 Acecat graphics tablet by Acecad. The files on the disc ( yes, I have all the documentation...thank you old components that actually have everything in print, not pdf )
WCPanel.exe is the tablet control panel.
I either need to get the setup program, or find a willing soul with an old 386/486 that would be so kind as to transfer the disc onto a floppy for me |
