If you want to change the name of the TEMP folder you can do that... so it really depends on what you want to change.

Copy it and paste it.. then change the name. You can't change the administrator folder. If you want the contents of the admin folder (desktop settings, etc) copy, paste create a new user and then change the copy to the new username in docu and set. You must stay logged in to admin to change it though. You might have to login as the other user to copy the admin stuf.. sigh.

I've changed system folder names by specifying the new name(s) (and location) in all instances of User shell & Shell folders in the reg. Ex.:

[HKEY_USERS\.Default\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Cur rentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders]
"Recent"="D:\\Temp"
"Personal"="D:\\Msoffice\\Document"
"Favorites"="D:\\Internet\\Favorite"
"AppData"="D:\\Internet\\AppData"
"NetHood"="C:\\WINDOWS\\CONFIG"
"Cookies"="D:\\Internet\\Cookies"
"History"="D:\\Internet\\History"
"Cache"="D:\\Internet\\Temporary Internet Files"

I've done this in NT4 OK, but 2K/XP might be a bit of a problem.

Right click on My Computer and go to properties
Click on the Advanced tab
Click the "Environment Variables" button.. you'll be able to create a new folder, and then copy everything over (preferably before you reset the variable)
Although I don't believe there is a variable set for Administrator folder.
