epox8k3a 1st and 3rd ram slots dead

Hi, out of the blue one day my computer crashed and started making beeping noises.....i tried to boot the comp..but my computer wouldnt start.....or would stall whenever i tried to go into windows or bios....after testing out the computer...i discovered that the 1st and 3rd ram slots wouldnt work anymore ....and that i had to move the ram to the 2nd slot for my computer to work ok. This is weird for me because my stick of 512 meg corsair xms 3000 ram worked fine in all the slots before........does anyone have any ideas as to why this happened...or any suggestions on how to fix this? thank you

Not sure why it happened... But to fix it, i'm going to say you'll have to get an RMA from EPoX and send it back for waranty repair/replacement.
