    A wallpaper question

I just changed my wallpaper, however everytime the system starts up it loads the old wallpaper for a few seconds right after log-in then it loads the new wallpaper. It also changes back to the old wallpaper when I lock the workstation using ctrl-alt-del, back to the new one when I unlock it. How do I get rid of the old wallpaper?

    It's Windows 2K Pro with Novell Client 4.83 sp1.

edit: If I remember correctly, I set the old wallpaper up through web browser using right click and Set as Backgroud option.

This is active desktop starting I believe. Right click on your desktop and unselect show web content. Is this the initial wallpaper you see when you start your PC? If so, simply change your wallpaper option in display properties to none. Reselect show web content and reselect the wallpaper you want to use.

With active desktop enabled, it displays for a few seconds the last .jpg desktop used before the current one.
