Okay, here it goes: New mobo, CPU, Ram & CD-RW.
Ram is: 512 (Samsung PC2700), only shows up as 256. Going to RMA it, not the problem though.
Mobo is: MSI KT3 Ultra2-RU With promise Onboard Raid (I hate promise, can't put cd-rom's on their controllers)
We have an external USB 2.0 HD enclosure, and windows should automatically detect and install it, well when it goes to install it this happens see attached file)
What on earth is doing this? corrupt driver file? It's built into windows so how can I fix it? There are no specific driver files for the enclosure.... it's backwards compatible with USB 1.1 but it was working b4 on the other mobo (MSI K7T Turbo-2)
I feel like a n00b but I'm lost on this one. Windows is great WHEN it works.
TIA
