At least at this point to me it sucks.
I doubt it's the program's fault. I am assuming it's ATI's drivers....
I had the latest Omega drivers, but that made America's Army foggy so i wehnt back to Catalyst 2.2
Catalyst 2.2 makes UT2003 foggy so I went to Catalyst 2.3. Same dif.
Argh this sucks!!! Frikkin developers in bed with Nvidia... not suprisingly BOTH of these programs have a nice Nvidia logo at the beginning damming ATI users right from the start.
So? Should I try older drivers? Or what?
TIA
Check it:

adds to the challenge - perhaps even I would have a chance against you
I understand your frustration - it's not cool to spend $$$ on the latest hardware to find that it's not performing as it should
hopefully someone here will have a solution
(sorry I run nvidia ) |

Sorry, my card is the 7500... I doubt ATI would ALLOW the 9700 to run UT like that... they would absolutely kill themselves. |

still as a customer you have the right to expect good service even after you bought the card
to compete with nvidia, ati will have to keep sharp on driver development IMO |

It's just a little foggy out is all. Just like in real life, deal with it. You can't be adjusting the controls of Mother Nature.
(It does appear to be typical driver type of issue though. Tell ATI to get on the ball. Check their newsgroup.) |

Hmmm what card do you have? I have the 8500 with all the newest stuff @ ATI's page and the Demo seems to be playing fine... I dont notice what you are talking about but I may also be missing it? UT 2003 seems ok to me...
