Okay here's the problem... I have very little stats mainly because the problem actually belongs to a friend of mine who knows very little about computers. My friend purchased a cannon digital camera and floppy drive adapter for the flash memory. He brought the camera to a wedding and took many unreplaceable pictures with it all the time promising friends copies galore. Well, he got home, installed the drivers for the floppy adapter into what a believe is either windows ME or 98 (forgot to ask). His puter read the floppy adapter and said hey, do you want to format? Being slightly technologically challenged he said yeah sure!! Well to make a long story short there are no pictures left. Now, he has done nothing else with the flash memory or the floppy adapter as far as putting or removing any more files. Is there some sort of recovery tool for this kind of thing?
