XP "shift for 8 seconds" feature
Hi, i was thinking of what to write while holding down the shift button once, and my computer gave me a beep and gave me the message about holding the shift button for 8 seconds. I got annoyed at this, and I went into the program, and accidently turned off "ignore all repeated buttons".....now, even if I hold the shift for 8 seconds, nothing happens. Can anyone tell me how to get the back so that I can have repeating again?
thanks

Try tapping the shift key---it brings up a "stickykeys" box and there are settings within, you may find it there---
