Outlook 2002

How do I tell Outlook 2002 to ignore a certain email account when I click on 'send/receive' ?

Thanks.

Do you mean you want to block mail from a certain sender?

No, I wan't Outlook not to include a certain account when searching for new emails since I hardly use that account and it slows down the search process.

Go to tools, options, mail set-up, send-recieve button.
Edit the account in question. Uncheck "include account in send recieve group"

This should do it for you.

You may find some other neat options of use there too.

You can still recieve mail on this account by selecting tools, send/recieve and either do a send/recieve all or select the account specifically.
