Send a message via AIM to DrumminBoy
weird e-mail problem...

Whenever someone tries to send me an e-mail at drummin-boy@mchsi.com, it forwards the e-mail to a yahoo account i havent used for a long time, and the person gets this error: "Your message was not delivered because the destination computer refused
to accept it (the error message is reproduced below). This type of error
is usually due to a mis-configured account or mail delivery system on the
destination computer; however, it could be caused by your message since
some mail systems refuse messages with invalid header information, or if
they are too large.

Your message was rejected by mx1.mail.yahoo.com for the following reason:
delivery error: dd Sorry, your message to drumminboy2004@yahoo.com cannot be delivered. This account is over quota. - mta135.mail.scd.yahoo.com"

I've looked in my yahoo account and i dont have that email address entered anywhere in there, so im guessing its a problem with outlook. What option would i choose to disable this? I dont understand why it would say its sending a message to drumminboy2004@yahoo.com when the message was addressed to drummin-boy@mchsi.com. Any ideas?? I'm stumped.

Your yahoo account seems to be full (out of quota).

If @mchsi.com is a unix mail. You might have a .forward file in your root directory which tells the system to forward the mail to the account specified.

I have the same problem, except mine is with an old Hotmail account.

I just had the ppl who have probs sending mail to me delete the entry in their address book and redo it.Seems to work.

I was thinking "another MS plot",but now I see you with the same problem with yahoo.I fell better.
