    Welcome to TIMO!

I'd suggest you format and reload the computer. It's a simple, yet time consuming fix. If you aren't willing to/don't want to format and rebuild, I'm going to need some more info before suggesting a remedy.

    So...

    1) Is this Isass.exe or Lsass.exe? That makes a big difference, so just wanting to confirm.

Thanks ^^ well that's the problem..... I am willing to go through hill or dale to fix my computer (I''ve gone through destructive system recovery twice in a row..... I think I have the patience) .......you see my computer has been shutting down latelly (for example, right in the middle of a program.....or anything.....sometimes it gets SO bad that it doesn't even get to the "Welcome" Screen.....however one day an error popped up......is had the phrase "lsass.exe" on it....however I can't discern the two with my computers font...... a capital I and a lowercase l look the same.....so I'm not sure....however I do know that the symptoms for my virus and the symptoms for this one are almost identical....plus the "lsass.exe" error makes it even more suspicious.....could you lead me trhough a step by step on how to reformat? It would be a great help!

    isass.exe

Need of help...I was checking out my freind compaq laptop and she has this isass.exe problem where the error message say that incorrect password message and keeps on rebooting. The cycle repeats itself. I've been reading the posts and I'm still now sure what to do. I read about hooking up the drive as a slave drive, etc.. But I'm not a computer savvy person. I may be more computer literate than most people, but not enough to deem myself computer savvy. is there a solution to this problem. I remember looking at her computer info and it was still under the SP1 version, SP2 is out all ready. Any helpful solutions withoiut having to loose everything.

BTW she is really hot and i think this will get me some brownie points. So who is willing to be my wingman. HEHEHHE. Thanks for the helps people.
