    Exclamation WinXP forgets the time..

Hello all, first post from a newbie....

Sys spec: mobo - ECS K7S5A (not another one you cry)
    Proc. - AMD XP2000
    RAM - 512 Mb PC2100
    OS - Windows XP home

Problem is this - The system can't remember the time! At each boot the time reported by windows in systray seems to continue from when the system was last closed down, but, and this is the wierd bit, the date is always correct

    Any suggestions gratefully received

    A confused and bewildered Phazz

I have had that similar problem, except my clock kept gaining time? The date stayed the same, but I kept gaining like a minute or two every couple of days? Did a clean OS install and haven't had the problem since. It was wierd???
