Hi guys,
I have a very odd problem: when I start my computer and it comes to the point where the loading screen of WinXP should come up, it just shows me a black screen with this little loading line you're used to know from DOS.
If I do a restart it gets me to the this selection screen where I can chosse between Safe Mode etc. Here normal boot up works.
To sum up: my pc only boots properly if I do a reset. But this really sucks because by doing this reset I damaged my MBR several times and got this nice BSOD saying "Unmountable Boot Volume". I fixed that with the repair console, but this booting hang up is still there...
My specs are:
1.4 Ghz Athlon TB
Elitegroup K7S5A SiS Motherboard
512 MB DDRAM
WinXP Sp1
and 2 IBM HDDs
