The thing is, I want some good ram I can OC my 1800+ to a 2000+ or more and be stable. should I go with the cheapest pc2700? or some good 3200? plz help me out and tell me which one is the best.. thnx.

Go with the PC2700 and don`t waste your money on extra speed you can`t use ..

166MHz is pretty high FSB speed and XP1800 might fail you just to reach 150MHz FSB without some serious cooling and/or unlocking the multiplier...

Regards

KenKun has Good Pts. Also, if you need to pinch some extra outta your memory, with good quality Ram, you should be able to OC it (if your Mobo has MemOC options). I have one machine where I run PC2100 @ 167x2 (basically PC2700) and another where I have OC'd PC2700 comfortably and stabley to around 400Mhz (but dont need to run it that way, so it is back at default).

Go with GoodQuality PC2700... IMO.
