One hot PC!!!!
Just a few minutes ago I went to go scan a picture and put my hand on my fathers computer and it felt hot so I put my hand on the back of it were thier is a fan exaust space and felt a slight breeze of hot air so I opend up the case to find no fan thier!!! (I thought at first the fan wasnt working very well) Aperantly the current of hot air was from the air rising in side of the case WOW!!! So I grabed a thermomitor put it in the case and closed it for about 5 minutes. When I took it out it said 97<insert degrees symbol>F WOW!!!! This computer is on all the time from constant useage by the family looks like he needs a few fans for it. I know what to get him for Xmas. JK.

Ther are only two fans in his comp and both are working One in his powersuply and one in the bottom of the case. Its just a lack of fans I think.

Pyro.
Maybe a good service on the machine would help.
Could be the fans are dirty.
If so, although running, they will not cool effectively.
Cracking open the PS and cleaning it out, does wonders too.
Remember the usual safety practices!

Btw: At least your dad's PC didn't get as hot as my old K6!

The fans are fine and I took a can of air to it last night thier was actualy very little dust. The main problem is that he only has two fans one at the very bottom of the tower and one in the ps. This tower is 3 ft tall and hot air rises so his fan in the bottom just blows cold air.

Well the bottom fan should be sucking cooler air in and exhausting the hot air through the PSU, though an additional fan below the PSU would be better.

I took an extra fan out of my computer that is tempararily not functioning due to a bad video card and put it in his computer were thier was a slot. After running for about 5 min its temp had droped a woping 20 degrees from 101-82 degrees <the 101 was the main reason I took action> I put my hand on the back of the computer to feel the temp of air coming out of the ps and found no current. I guess the flow of air coming out of both vents was just hot air rising. So it looks like we need cans of air and a vacume. I took a flash light to it just a few seconds ago and noticed dust about 1.5cm thick on everything in thier. My fan has kept the temp way down and should keep it down untill he fixes his ps or gets a fan of his own.

Getting a functioning fan inside the PS and cleaning the components is pretty crucial since the PS itself creates a lot of heat, and those components in there don't like to be that hot for extended periods of time. Leads to PSU failure evenutally.
Use extreme caution in there. Even when it's unplugged, grabbing the wrong bits of a power supplies' insides can kill you. No joke.
There's only two things in life. But I forget what they are.
