CPU Fan

Hello, I'm having trouble with my CPU Fan. When I boot my computer up, the POST gives error beebs and it says that my CPU Fan isn't running. I cold reboot for about 2-3 times and then my computer runs normally. Other than this, I don't have any other problems with my machine. Can someone please help me?

Thanks!

Does your CPU fan have two or three wires coming from it? Is it plugged into the motherboard or plugged into one of the power supply cords?

Let us know, so we can help!

David

Can you see if the fan really is running? If it isn't running, you should check the power connections or see if the wires have been pinched or something.

The motherboard header may be blown. If this is the case, you'd need to disable hardware monitoring in your BIOS to get it to boot
