| Urgent Comp Problem!
Ok, i got a farely new dell, its been working great since i got it, last nite i did soem cleaning up of old files and folders i never used, now this morning, i was online, tried clicking on a video link, it usually saves it to a temp folder then opens it, but instead i got the prompt :
" C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\CXGP6FUT\Clip001[1].WMV "
The Specified Path does not exist, check the path and try again.\
Im fairly a newb at problems like this, and i have no idea what to do, someone PLEASE HELP  |

Have you tried something as simple as a system reboot? How about a system restore? (I think that XP has that).

Have you installed SP1 yet? Also, try opening up "internet options" and clearing cookies ant temporaty internet files.

What files/folders did you clean up, and how did you do that?
And are you logged in to windows as your usual log in?

| Not all that familar with Xp, however guys do ya get to choose a date like in Win98?
If so, then if it messed up "Last Night" a restore should have preceeded this problem. |
