Not sure if this is the right forum but I have noticed that recently Windows XP pops up the "Windows can perform the same action each time you insert a disc or connect a device of this kind" dialogue box for no apparent reason. It's the one that pops up when you put a CDROM into your drive. It always refers to a blank CD. I've just clicked OK while the "Open with Windows Explorer" was highlit and, since the drive was empty, it asked me to insert a disc. When I clicked cancel, all the icons in my Systray vanished and my desktop appeared to refresh. Strange no?
