Asus A7V133 board only lights up green, wont boot up, there is no beep, no fans turns

Asus A7V133 board only lights up green, wont boot up, there is no beep, no fans turns

ASUS A7V133
XP 2000+
Enermax 350W
256 SDR 133mhz
maxtor 80G
gf3ti 64mb
lg 52X cdrom
yamaha f1 CDRW



my board doenst boot up.. i just get a green light on the board and for the love of god cant figure out why nothing else will run...

have already removed all devices except for the video card
have already reseated all connectors and video card
have alraedy switched AGP card to an ATI pci rage 3d 4mb card
have already removed the power switch connector and tried shorting the connectors with pliars and screw driver to get it to start up.. no good

now i am stuck on what i acn possible do..

want to know if thiscould mean that my board is fried?? is my CPU fried???

Boilerplate-01:
. Most frequent causes of failure to boot:
1- RAM, CPU or AGP video card not seated properly, or a bent pin.
2- Drive data cable on upside down or only on half the pins or shifted . a pin or two (usu Floppy or Zip drives).
3- CMOS needs to be cleared (AC power must usually be disconnected or . attempt to clear CMOS may fail) Unless your mobo does not use a power-off CMOS clear - check your mobo manual for specific info.

interesting..

ok thanks.. im gonna try the cmos step

because ive checked the cpu ram and video card..
and with the ribbon cables i havent even bothed plugging them in.


i just want the power to turn on and hear the FANS turn
