I get random illegal operations during mohaa

I get random illegal operations, computer freezes, or a blue screen while playing medal of honor allied assualt. Anything I can do to help stop this? I have a HP Pavilion with windows 98SE, 384MB PC133 RAM, a GeForce2 Ti 64 MB vedio card, AMD Althlon 850 mgz processor. I am pretty sure I don't run out of memory or resources while playing it, any ideas or ways to fix it?

What errors do you get? Maybe the codes will help solve the problem

Is it just MOHAA that you experience this w/ or other games as well?

Could be overheating.

That's true, what kind of processor is it? Slot 1 / Slot A? What chipset?

What kind of fans in there?

it is mainly medal of honor, I haven't played any other games lately, although i will play gta3 tomorrow and see what happens.

As far as chipset and stuff I don't really know. It has a big fan that sucks air in from the back and blows it right on the processor. The processor lookes like a big black thing (i mean it is huge) that is all waved in and out to make maximum surface area too cool it off. That is the only fan there is.
