If you dont have the restore disks, you can easily get your computer up and running, but you will need an os disk and any other programs needed. Youll have to get the drivers for sound and video from compaqs site. These are usually on your restore disk along with os and some progs. Or you can fork out the $$ for a restore disk from compaq.
