SSL Probs....

Ok first off usin XP pro and since I installed it I have played and played with the SSL settings trying to get msie to connect to SSL servers.. Some I can connect to like M$ others I can't like my banks, SprintPCS, etc. I have double checked everything and even posted a pic of my ssl settings in MSIE... MSIE help>>about lists the cipher strength as 128 bit.... Not too sure what else to try...

Are you using a proxy? If so, the proxy needs to be used also in secure connections.

A couple simple things you may have tried already:
1.Use the IE repair option in add/remove programs(I just assume its there-I dont run XP)
2.Go to windows update site and see if it lists 128-bit encryption in the list of things you can download.(I've actually tried that once and it worked!)HTH
