| Can I retrieve info from old HD?
I just built a new pc and I kinda parted out my old one. I have a few things on my old hd that I cannot find the disks for. Is there any way to hook that hd up on this machine and retrieve those files?
Thanks,

If you are talking about installed programs, no. Installed programs cannot be transferred, they must be re-installed from the program disks.
If you are wanting files such as music, pictures, zip files etc, yes it is easy. For these files just hook the drive up as a slave and set the bios then start the machine and it will show up in My Computer as another drive. Just drag the files to another window. |
