MY PC HAS JUST GONE FROM AMD ATHLON 2100+ TO 1500+! PLEASE HELP!

i think it may be because the fsb has gone from 133 to 100. however, how would i change it back if that is indeed the problem.

please help, it's 1:15 over here in the uk and i won't let myself sleep until i fix the problem.

thanks in advance

Have you reset the FSB to 133 in the bios? Will it boot then?

What is your MotherBoard?
Does it have a jumper to change FSB or its done through the BIOS?

lol, yeah that is my motherboard.

but anyway, i've figured it out now. it was on the frequency/voltage settings (i think).

thanks anyway

btw, when changing the fsb back to 133, i noticed it could actually go to 256. does that mean i can put my processor up higher than 2100, or is it just if i wanted to change my processor, it's the most my motherboard can take.

thanks again, i can finally go to sleep now. later
