Older Motherboard Beep Errors

My friend is having a big problem with his motherboard. He says that when he powers it on it Beeps 4 long beeps then a pause then 3 more long beeps then a short beep and doesn't start up.
He is running Pentium 100Mhz, 170MBHD, and 32MB RAM. He has tried 2 video cards a 4MB and a 8MB getting the same problem. The motherboard says 'micronics computers inc.' on it. Thats all the info he gave me.

The beep code means the ram module is bad. Reseat the ram module. If that doesn't work, then you need to buy a new stick of ram.

It's either the RAM or the mobo itself. If you've tried known good sticks of RAM, then suspect the board itself.
