Windows 2K Server Shutdown Problem

Hi, I just installed Windows 2000 Server Edition on my computer and I have a problem shutting down. Whenever I shut down my computer, it shuts down and my computer powers off. However, about a second later, it starts back up again for no reason.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

If the system shuts down completely before restarting then it sounds like a BIOS problem, not Windows. I would start by checking your BIOS settings or look for a BIOS update for your system. Second, you could check the manuf web site of your system to see if this a known issue with your hardware.

NOTE: If this is server hardware, it may be a feature of the hardware to always power back on if shut down.
