Win XP internet problems.....

I am having a strange internet problem. There are certain sites and parts of websites that will not load, I get “the page cannot be found” message in IE6. The same sites also do not load in Netscape7 and Opera7. The strange thing is I have a DSL connection with a Linksys router. The other computer I have displays the entire web pages fine with no problems in IE6 or Netscape. The one I am having the problems on is a WinXP box with all updates, the other is a Win2000 box with all updates. I have scanned for all viruses and Trojans and it came up clean.

Any thoughts? I am stumped.

I got blasted on this before, but did you installes service pack 1 for XP ????? From my readings it's risky business and has caused much greif on alot of computers. Have you tryed system restore to put your registry back ????

I just got mad and reformatted and did a clean install of XP. I will not be installing SP1, which I did have on the prior installation.
