NTLRD missing Press CTRL + ALT + DEL to restart.

um yeah, okay heres the deal, i read over other post involving this problem, but they all seem to be for win Xp.. okay so, i have Windows 2k Pro. i took out the HD (40gig) from my old computer, put it into my new computer to format it. then i installed Windows 2k Advanced Server on it. took out the HD and put it back in my old computer. all it says is NTLRD missing Press CTRL + ALT + DEL to restart.

so, how can i fix this guys/girls? any help would be appreciated.

1st, make sure there isn't a floppy in there!
2nd, put your windows 2k cd in and do the recovery options

if that doesn't work i would just re-install windows from that computer.

Why would you install windows on any other machine than the one you intend to use it on?

"if you are using an old hdd that is already formatted, auto detection cannot detect the correct parameters. Youmay need to do a low level format or set the parameters manually, then check if the hdd is working."
(from an unspecified mobo manual)
Just reformat and reinstall os-the nonsensical error messages mean nothing
