Opera browser question

does anyone know where to find the bookmark file in the opera folder? Also, want to back up my emai lmessages from Opera. I'm gonna format soon, so I wanted to back these up.

I think its a .adr file.
Dunno about exporting email though.

if you have a burner I'd just copy the opera directory to a cd. Its pretty much self contained.

i can try saving a copy of the folder, i do have a burner. Ill see if that works. thanks for the help.

no prob. The nice thing about opera is it is mostly self contained. I think it may have some cached stuff in your C:\Documents and Settings\Account Name Here\Application Data\Opera\Opera7 folder. Actuallyi has two accounts, mail, and something else. You'll probably want to back up your mail at least

File --> Export --> Bookmarks
It will save a file wherever you want.

Then you import the same way
but beware its import isn't very smart it doesn't avoid duplicates so what I usually do is after the fresh install I delete all the default bookmarks and then import otherwise you get duplicates of all the defaults and you have to clean them up.. pain in the butt!!
So whack them, then import
