Making an Autorun CD

As I stated before, I also could not get the slideshow thing running properly for several reasons (see above). Sorry, but I was just brainstorming at that point.

You may get it to work, but you need to make sure of a couple of things:
Is your slideshow.txt file actually named slideshow.txt? Mine came out named slideshow.lst.
Did you remove the paths in the slideshow.txt (or .lst) file?

I don't know if you will be able to get it to work or not. In my preliminary tests I could not. I will be happy to keep brainstorming with you, though.

Edit: I just looked at the link JnMHayes posted and it looks like it might be just what you need.

I've got to get up at 0400 in the morn so I don't think I'll be doing too much more on this today or tommorrow.

I'll post back with my results when I have had a play with the program I was pointd to by JnMHayes.

Here's one that allows you to make a CDR that will play in your DVD player (VCD format?) with slide show capabilities. I haven't used it but I know some people who have and said it was great. The downside - cost is $29.95. Just thought I'd throw this option out as well.

Hi,

As you can see this was posted sometime ago.

I have just kept it bookmarked for future reference and was wondering what happened to the post made by JnMHayes. It is mentioned in the last post by str8jakit but seems to have just vanished.

I seem to remember this user name as being a pretty regular contributor but when I searched the members thing I got nothing under that name.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what has happened here?
