Unless I am mistaken this is easier than you may think...
determine the maker of your present Master drive, goto companies website and look under either downloads or support.
they should offer a utility to transfer files from one drive to another. Follow directions carefully, wich may include unzipping files to floppy and then rebooting with that floppy.
Its really not hard and once you start if you have any questions, myself and others will be more than happy to walk you through any steps.
this is a common thing most of us have had to do.
Ill keep checkin back to see how your doin!
    Good Luck!!

You should be able to go to the web site of the manufacturer of either the master or slave drive. They should have a cloning utility.

Norton ghost does this kind of thing well. Ghost the Master to the slave and then hook up slave as master. All done....

Oh Ghost is a cloning software that you can buy at any retail store.

    I prefer Drive Image!

It tends to do a better job that Norton Ghost, and is a little easier to use.

    Harder
