How can I get my comp to check if the RAM is good? I've had some probs with my system and someone suggested that my RAM might be acting up. Its PC 133 with a Tyan Trinity KT - A (S2390B) mobo. I'm running windows 2000 pro.

Run the program to load it on a floppy (see readme)
Put floppy in drive
Restart machine, with floppy still in drive.
Let it run through the test. If it shows ALOT of errors in a fairly centralized location, you have bad ram. If it shows one or tow errors, especially if it's not centralized and doesn't show up on later passes, then it's fine. No errors is always good.
well i couldnt get the memtest to work so i tried docmemory and my RAM failed i guess i have to get some good RAM ... will you guys let me know if the RAM prob explains this: when I was running XP i couldn't burn CDs or watch DivX files without my comp restarting (on its own). Also, my comp would freeze after being on for more than like 24 hours. I did a clean install of windows 2000 pro and everything but the DivX problem got better. I guess I should get some new RAM regardless ... any suggestions? Do I have to replace the RAM I have now (PC133) with the same kind of RAM? mobo: Tyan Trinity KT - A (S2390B). Thanks a lot guys!
