banshee problem
Hi,
I had an old ATI card in a machine running windows 98se and replaced it with a voodoo banshee. Now when I try to adjust the resolution and color depth it is messed up. I can put it in 16, 24, and 32 bit color but only in 640x480. If I try to put it in 800x600 it can only go up to 16colors! I have the banshee drivers installed and have uninstalled all of the ati software. If I let windows automatically detect the card it just comes up as a standard VGA pci card. Also windows says that the drivers I am installing for the banshee are not the right ones but they are. ANy one have any ideas?Got root?

If you can't get it to work after a couple of days, shoot me an e-mail and I'll send you the drivers I have for the card in the system I'm typing on currently. They were downloaded directly from 3dfx and have worked perfectly for years.

Sounds like he has anger control issues, and this time it got him killed. Terrorist or not (my money's initially on not, innocent before guilt and all) he didn't deserve to be shot.
The FBI has killed another person...
