ADSL USB Compatible Router

Hi, I recently bought the Linksys BEFSR41 ADSL Router, it hasn't arrived yet, but I've realised it's not going to be compatible with my USB modem (BT Openworld Alcatel Speedtouch).
However, I believe the Linksys BEFSRU31 is suitable (well it has a USB port anyway). I'm hoping the modem can be plugged directly into the router. What I want to get away from, is having my PC on, in order for another user to connect to the internet. I have contacted Linksys, but I know how long they can take responding to these things. Just thought I'd pre-empt them, and see if anyone here has any experience with said Router.

I have some possible bad news: The BT Openworld package is a ADSL package, and so runs off a RJ11 cable. The router you have purchased is Cable/DSL and has an RJ45 port in it. It is not compatible with your product.

If you have a router of any description with a RJ11 port in it, then you will be able to avoid having the PC on all the time...

Yeah, as I said at the beginning of the post - I've realised the routers not compatible. The way I see it is I either buy an all in one router with builtin adsl modem, or I buy an ethernet adsl modem to plug into the router. One of the reasons for this was because the PC with the shared internet connection is being moved into a different room. Although it would have been nice to leave my pc off, I think I'll just get a longer crossover cable for a fraction of the price!
