scheduled tasks in XP

im tring to run the scheduled tasks on xp. example; disk clean up, defrag and i see that it has not run because it says "The scheduled task did not run because no user account password was entered" i dont remember ever setting up a password for this how would i go about having these programs run with out a password needed to be entered?

I FOUND IT DISREGUARD THIS THREAD I JUST UNINSTALLED IT AND REINSTALLED IT AND IT ASKED FOR ME TO SET A PASSWORD

Hmm thats strange, you should be able to add a scheduled task even withough a password.

Does the machine have a administrator password?

See this.

Just another reason I hate XP. I just built a server for a dental practice. I don't want the office staff to have to logon (I want to keep it as simple as possible). In order for my batch files to run (among other tasks), I have to configure it for a password.

Did I mention that XP is worse than 95? Just my 2 cents .
